Volunteers are a big part of Greater Trenton Junior Golf. GTJG is always looking for coaches, mentors, chaperones, and other volunteers.

We urge you to get involved!

Get volunteer experience that will help create positive change in our community while developing skills working in a diverse, fun and upbeat environment.

  • Tracking Progress of Kids
  • Involvement of community leaders, professional golfers and athletes and educators.
    o Participation in annual fund-raising golf outing
    o Take-a-kid-to-the-course day
    o Caddy program
  • Concern for the well being of our world
    o Focus on at risk youth
    o Commitment to building family structure
    o Involvement of fathers in the lives of their children
    o Emphasis and support of participation by girls

How can Parents Help?

o Support your children.

o Administrative Support, particularly with respect to communication.

o Communicate with GTJG on perceived areas of strength and weaknesses as well as offer constructive suggestions on how to improve.

o Regular participation at meeting, practices, GTJG events.

o This is not a public service or babysitting service. Parents MUST participate.
o Ask questions.

o All parent organizations must fall within the guidelines of the Board of Directors. The first line of communication with the Board is the President, Jeffrey Hughes.
