Greater Trenton Jr. Golf receives USGA 2006 Northeast Regional Grant

This grant supports a Junior Golf Program for youth ages 3 to 18 years old. Close to 200 children will have the opportunity to participate at various golf facilities in and around Trenton, NJ. USGA funds will support PGA instruction, golf clubs, course access and transportation.
Olsen Foundation Donates $25,000 to Local Junior Golf Program

Greater Trenton Junior Golf President Eric Tunstill announced at the Organizations Fund Raising Golf Tournament that it had received a $25,000 donation from the Olsen Foundation of Princeton. Mr. Olsen, the first civilian to pay his way into space and visit the Space Station, has been a long time friend of Harry "Chubby" Blackwell (GTJG Executive Director) and has given a few inspirational talks to GTJG kids and volunteers.
D’Auria and Campbell Receive Scholarships

Paul D’Auria and Sean Campbell were each awarded $2,000 college scholarships by the Greater Trenton Junior Golf Scholarship Committee.
Both Paul and Sean have been members of GTJG since they were just small boys and have improved their golf and life skills through their participation. Paul will be attending Muhlenberg College while Sean is still undecided.

GTJG Participates in PGA Community Relations Clinic

The 87th PGA Championship’s first visit to Baltusrol Golf Club continued the tradition of bringing together the finest players in the world. It also continues another tradition of the PGA Community Relations Program in impacting the communities that support a major championship. GTJG were participants in both the Junior Clinic held at Royce Brook GC and spectators at the Event.
