Funding

The Greater Trenton Junior Golf program seeks funding for the purchase of golf equipment for participants (clubs, bags, balls and apparel), educational support, provide access to golf ranges, registration in golf tournaments, provide training for participants, provide participant incentives, and transportation to golf events (tournaments, PGA professional events) as needed.

This funding needs have a direct impact on golf instruction of the program. In order to develop and maintain interest in golf, equipment and exposure is vital. We anticipate 70% of this funding to be used for equipment, access and instruction, and 25% for registration and administration.

The children of Trenton and surrounding areas are benefiting significantly from the GTJG program. The USGA and the Olsen Foundation continues to be the main source of GTJG funding efforts.
