2004/2005 Highlights
Through participation in a series of competitive junior golf tournaments, several kids have had the opportunity to travel to international tournaments. Below are some of those events and other highlights that took place in 2004/2005.
- Registered approximately 120 kids ages 3-18, many of whom participated with GTJG for the first time.
- Participated in “Jimmy Garvin’s Langston Legacy Tournament” – Grand Bahamas (Golf Exposure)
- Participated in “Teens On The Green Mercedes Championship” – Bangkok, Thailand (Teens On The Green)
- Participated in Drive, Chip & Putt Contest at Hamilton GC (The Golf Channel)
- Participated in US Kids Golf Tour (US Kids Golf)
Instituted Fall Junior Golf Program – Mott School 2004 (Trenton Scoop Program). - Participated in Player’s Championship (qualifier) at Mountain View GC – GTJG, Golf Exposure and Callaway Golf.
- Participated in Callaway Junior World Championships in San Diego, CA
- Participated in Mercer County Future Champions Tournament – 3 rounds
- Participated in Golf Exposure’s Junior Open – Delaware
